The Senior High Ministry at Grace reaches out to and is represented by students from every high school in the county. Most of the programs are student led with adult supervision. It is high energy and highly relational.
Sunday mornings are called "LIFE!" a discussion-oriented class looking at scripture and topical studies.
During the week students are encouraged to participate in a wealth of activities (information is sent out in the form of a calendar every three months) including:
- The Street - Wednesday nights from 7-8:30pm (not meeting during the summer). Hanging out in the gym, playing some games, worshipping with the student-led band, discussing current issues and how they affect us as believers. Six adults assist in making this an uplifting weekly get-together.
- Special Events - Once a month organized activities-retreats. Quarterly weekend retreats to strengthen friendships and grow in Christ.
- Accountability Groups - Small discipleship groups of 2-3 meeting together to study God's Word and pray for each other.
- Service Projects - Putting our faith in action in serving others. Concerts of Prayer - Hour long chances to get together and simply pray together.
- SLuG (Student Leadership Group) - Student leaders meeting together twice a month to pray for students, plan events and youth activities, and train for leadership.
- CHIC - Huge denominational retreat (approx. 6,000 students) happening every third summer (next trip summer 2012). Click here to go to the CHIC 2009 website.
